Sridhar and I had fun the other day just wondering about his life as farmer. It began with him saying he does not want to work anymore. I asked him if he had 20-30 acres of farm land, he can become a farmer. So we imagined a life in the day of farmer, Sridhar Reddy.... and...here is how the dialogue went...:)
Sridhar: I dont want tp work anymore
Me: Well if you can afford to sit at home, why not. Do you have 20-30 acres of land?
Sridhar: yeah why
Me: Well you can become a farmer and lead a life of leisure
Sridhar: yeah, just imagine. Me wearing white khadi pant and shirt, fully starch
Me: And a gold bracelet and gold bracelet. And wait Rayban aviator glasses
Sridhar: Yeah, I would get ready in the morning and i would for a round in the village
Me: Yeah, "Bandlu thee yandraa", kallu taagali
Sridhar: Villagilo okka round eskoni, intiki vaapas
Me: then you will shout at your wifey, "Enti, mutton yepudu readiya?"
Sridhar: then okka round sound sleep
Me: then you will get up and sit out and smoke a beedi
Sridhar: What...no no..
Me: Then at 7 PM, you will go watch a redord dance
Sridhar: What, nooo, ha ha ha. But I am from telangana, record dances are held in Andhra...
So i call out, Salma Begum, are record dances held at Vijayawada. And she says, as usual :). i dont know i have never been to one...
